Getting Inked

The phrase "Body Art" fasc inated me for quite sometime. It was those days when I used Orkut for online social networking. There used to be a column: Body Art. I could never fill it as I had none. Some people would fill that information as tattoo. Coming from a typical Indian middle-class family I had hardly seen anyone with a tattoo. I often wondered what a tattoo was like. When I started working, I came across a few people who had tattoo. There would be casual conversations what the tattoo was like, did it pain, and most important, how much did it cost? The people gave varied answers. The location of tattoo would decide how much it would pain, the size would decide the cost etc. etc. But I heard no one talking about anything about the designs. I had read sometime that doodles are the interpretations of ones hidden desires. I am not sure why, but I felt tattoo also represented same. Then, I started looking around. I found someone at work place, who has tattooed Ron...

Cupid's Broken Arrow

Cupid's arrow seems to be broken Its aim is off on who it is poking He promised that loves truth was ahead Took out his weapon and aimed at my head I closed my eyes and giggled in glee Finally love was to happen to me Directions must have been misread It seems my dog was shot instead Once she was pierced Her loyalties shifted Now onto the partner that cupid pre-gifted She used to run around with mutts Now with my man that bitch struts My baby's been shot and he cannot see His partner's a dog… It’s supposed to be me! Today he walked her down my street Her tail in the air; she walked with conceit I screamed out the window as the two walked below "She's not what she seems, She's just a missed bow. I waited a lifetime for you to pursue, she'll never love you the way that I do" There was no catching my sweetheart's ear Obsessed with my pet since shot by loves spear Though cupid's intentions did come from his heart He forgot to pretest his component ...

People who make it worth living!!!

Relationships play a very important role in our life. There's more about them than discussing who is whose what.. It is a very crucial process of choosing your friends. They form your character. The people who stood by your side, accepted you with your defeats & flaws and when you are at the lowest of life are definitely your friends, but friends also have to play another role of a mentor. They have to tell you what is right and what is wrong. True friend will always stop you from doing something wrong and will also bail you out of an unwarranted situation. They are the first critics yet they can't see you sad. They will help you correct every wrong in your life. They will not do it all by themselves but will make you do it for your own good. These relationships do not generate dependencies, instead make you strong to stand tall all by yourself. They don't care what you are wearing, they don't care how you are looking, all they are concerned about is smile on your...
