Wah Kya Scene Hain... II

This one set me in proper set of mind after a bad day.

Movie is Madagascar 3.

Alex learns about Vitaly's glory and failure from the past, yet wants Vitaly to perform.
Initially Vitaly denies as the fear of failure & loss of dignity have made place in his mind and heart.

Loss of dignity is such a loss that can put anyone in a cocoon. Only true relations can help you come out of it. You become bitter and just lose all the confidence. The world out there is cruel and will do everything to pull you down. You need to have the positive support system along with an assertive attitude. There has to be room for failure, the insistence of being perfect eats away the joy of doing something.

Alex reminds him the purpose of doing the act. Vitaly realizes that he was not performing the act to impress anyone. He was doing it only because exploring his own new limits every time was giving him the sense of contentment, a sense of being complete all within himself. The worth of a man is known only through the purpose of his activities.

Vitaly again has doubts about himself. Like a true friend Alex comes to his rescue. Alex suggests using of hair conditioner instead of Extra virgin olive oil as lubricant. In a simple act Alex convinces that being open to change can help you push yourself to achieve the heights that even you don't know existed.

Vitaly then gives a spectacular opening act only to realise nothing is impossible.  It only takes a minute to get over your fears and free your mind. Once this moment passes, it changes your life forever.

In search of footsteps of the Great Shivaji Maharaj - Umbarkhind

February 1661: It was 2nd of February and the Mughal Army was marching fast towards the Konkan region from Pune. The army consisted of Horses, Bulls, Elephants, small canons and men. They were equipped for a full fledged war anytime. Their head, Kartalab Khan, was a fierce Uzbek warrior. Trusted by the Mughal Emperor, Aurangzeb, he was sent to the Pune region to assist Shahista Khan to wage war against the Great Shivaji. Kartalab Khan was assisted by Kachhap, Jasawant Kokate, and the lady sardar RaiBaghan. The army had reached Lohgad and Khan had decided to take the pass between Lohgad and Visapur to enter Konkan. The spies informed Kartlab Khan that the Great Shivaji was resting at Kuruwande Village, roughly 4 miles west to the Lohgad. Khan instantly jumped at the opportunity to siege the Great Shivaji and gain higher ranks at the courts of the Emperor. Thus, the army changed its course and turned towards to Kuruwande. As they reached Kuruwande, they found that the informers

Riki - The dog and Me -the Human

A promise that will last forever...  It was third week of November 2003. I was recovering from relapsed Malaria and pneumonia and had returned to my parent’s place from Navi Mumbai. My then husband turned up one early evening and surprised me with a gift. The gift was a cute little black Labrador retriever puppy of less than 3 months of age. (November 20, 2003) I always wanted a dog but my parent’s understanding of responsibility had always denied acceptance of a dog. We had fish and birds but a dog was too much. I had dreamt that when I will grow up I will get myself a German shepherd and my ex-husband always had dreamt of having a black lab. So obviously he picked up a black lab. When the puppy came home, my first reaction was, "ohh my baby is here!" Day one On day one, this pup sat near the chair which was like ten times his size, six months later he found that the space beneath this chair can be his hideout when a bath is called upon, and a year lat

How got Leh'd Part Four (13 August - 16 August)

13 August: It was 4 something, when I woke up. Praj was ready to leave hence I freshened up fast and we went to Stanzin’s office across the road. We called Stanzin but Dorje- our driver to Nubra came outside. He said he would drop us to the bus station. We were wondering what to do and in couple of minutes, Stanzin also appeared. He told Dorje to go back to sleep and started the car. In couple of minutes we were at the bus station. The bus was jam packed. And to our surprise most of them were foreigners. The attendant checked our ticket and took charge of our luggage and we gotten on our way. I had decided to sleep all the way as it was the same old way we had travelled while coming to Leh from Manali; And as it is Avomin, my motion sickness tablet had done its job of putting me to sleep well. Although I was a bit sleepy, I could feel that the road was bumpy. The bus kept taking its halts for loo and food. I was just tired… bored may be of travelling all this time and all I wante
